Does anyone know what size pin punch i'd need to remove the trigger group?

The pins are 1/4" diameter for the rear and 3/16" for the front (at least for a 12ga). So as long as your tool is 3/16" or less, you should be good. I would look for something with a point, so that it can engage the little centering divots in the ends of the pins.

I use a cheap awl that I got from my hardware store. It works perfectly as a pin pusher, and I can turn it around and use the non-marring plastic handle to tap the pins back in if needed. It works for most of the pins in the trigger plate assembly, as well.
