870 classic trap

Like to say to everyone I have a question I broke ejector spring probably gonna have to drive rivet back thru receiver when I get it re blued does anyone suggest anyone that can put the Gold back on the classic receiver thanks

Are you sure you need to have the rivet replaced? As I understand it, the rivet can often simply be re-peened over a new ejector spring.

The ejector broke on my classic trap also. Did you find a place to get the gold insert replaced?
I called Remington and they wanted to sell me a new receiver. I must have spoken to the wrong person, a total waste of time.

Are you talking about the inlay on the receiver? Maybe Remington's Custom Shop could help you with that.
