Hi all, I am currently looking to upgrade the stock on my Remington 870 express for duck hunting. What do y'all use/ recommend?

What stock does your gun have at the moment? I think the factory synthetic Express stocks are pretty good utilitarian pieces for hunting. They're not affected by harsh conditions, have a fairly nice shape that tends to fit most folks, they're pretty light-weight, and for about $20 you can get a pre-fit SuperCell recoil pad that drops right onto them and makes heavy loads very comfortable to shoot. Despite the hollow construction, they seem to be pretty durable, and if you do manage to mess one up, you won't empty your wallet replacing it.
