Ah. I see. I have Remmy tube and clamp with streamlight TLR-7A pistol light right up against forearm on a streamlight tube mount. The pistol light actuation button is right where I want it.

This is what I was talking about, I mounted my Flashlight and its right where I need it.

Due to the increased price of ammo, don't expect a warning shot...

Nice light, and placement. What light and mount? Fan of streamlight. And your light, vs my pistol light, puts the lens further forward for less shadow.

It's a Streamlight Pro Tac light. The mount is on my Nordic barrel clamp. I like it.

Love seeing everyone’s builds and original 870’s

I’ve posted mine before, but add and still working on little updates. So here it is again .. my 1975 (I think?) 12ga Wingmaster.

Very nice 870 and setup gwebber. I still like wood stocks, and am browsing ebay for a good set. I'm looking for a "corn-cob" style of forend, the one that is kind of short and has ribs cut into it. They're hard to find either in good shape, or a reasonable price. Everything "Guns" has gone through the roof, especially Remington 870 stuff. I could get rich if I sold my 18,5" barrel I saw one go for over $400, it's crazy.

Thanks, yes I love the look of the wood, but as you saw elsewhere I’m thinking about a Magpul setup .. though I’d keep the wood stored. Yes, 870 anything has gone wild price wise, example: I was looking for an original Remington mag clamp and I thought it was a bit nuts at $45 bucks ... then I saw the screw (sold separately) was $8 bucks !!!!! It’s a freaking screw.

Seen a few corncobs on eBay and I think on gunbroker

Well Here are mine.
The top one is an 870 Tactical I picked up today. Put a Mesa tactical rail on it. Need to figure out sights Maybe Mbus? The bottom was my first one. I swapped for the Magpul SGA and got the treeline forends cheap and they are brighter than the stream light. Need a +1 for the top one. Oh and when i was picking this one up, an PSA AR somehow jumped on my credit card.... Cant figure out how that happend. haha

Edit... I noticed the dimples in the mag tube are very very slight. I needed just a bit of force to get the follower out, I am thinking a little light dremeling and it will be flush or should i use that swage tool?

Dremel, don’t rush. Seen too many tales of people trying to swage and hammer and screw up the tube.

Made a few changes to the latest 870 tactical. some Mesa tactical, some magpul, maybe an optic down the road.
