Definitely nothing wrong with the long-mag 870 models. Simplicity has always been one of the greatest strengths of the platform, and the one-piece magazine just makes things simpler still for those who don't need a multi-role gun. I just wish the stores that sell the things would take 5 minutes to teach their employees the difference between standard 870s, and these single-role variants.

My 870 as it is today and how i plan on keeping it (pretty much), I've also added a GG+G Follower and a Wolff HD Spring and Remington +2 Mag Ext.
