870 Comparison to Mossberg 500?

Well just received my 500A receiver last night, and there are striking differences between an 870 receiver and the Mossberg. The Mossberg is an aluminum piece, while our 870 receivers are all steel. I have the remnant stub of a de-mil'ed 870 parts kit bought from from Everygunpart.com and the sheer wall thickness of the 870 is a testament. I'll post other differences as I build my Mossberg but Round 1 goes to the 870 for quality in my book.
