Received the S&J Hdwr type 2 follower in 3 days after ordering. Thank you Synchronizer.

Honestly, I can't tell a difference in operation between the original steel follower and the new Delrin follower. I think that speaks to the quality of the original. But, in the Delrin follower, I really like that you can see the green color better and feel the recess to confirm your mag's empty.
Happy with the purchase.

I've kept the gun out on a table now for a few weeks just to admire its beauty and craftsmanship, exercising the action periodically, and wipe it down to a gleam. That said, I may need therapy.

I just recently made a bunch of aluminum followers to get rid of OEM plastic ones.

The plastic followers tend to be thin, and as we all know, as plastic ages, tend to crack much more easily than metal. ;) I much prefer metal over plastic.

Plus, I take a few special pains that you won't find in most OEM followers. Chamfered leading and trailing edges, reduced contact surface area on the sides to reduce friction and reduce a little more weight, etc.

OP here... back to download some images as requested early on...

I just copied the shortcut to the post so if there's a better way I'm all ears.

I'd like to get another grip cap with the correct screw but I'm a little leery of the examples I'm finding online that seems to have a lot more detail to the flying duck than mine (B18015). NOS would be fantastic but a used one would be just fine as well if anyone knows where one can be found?

Lastly, there is a black spacer under the butt stock recoil pad. Is it safe to say that white butt stock spacers were provided with white grip cap spacers?
