The rifle has been in my family for 50-years or so and passed hands several times. As the oldest surviving member of my family I inherited the rifle a few years ago. The right side of the barrel has the expected magnaflux and proof marks, but the left side of the barrel is gibberish according to the published marking charts I’ve seen.
