New CDM Gear MOD-C Light Clamp

This is review of the new MOD-C Light Clamp from CDM Gear. This clamp now fits Remington 870, 1100, 11-87, Benelli M1/M2/M4/M104, Mossberg 500C/930, Winchester 1300.

New CDM Gear MOD-C Light Clamp is an enhanced version of the good old MOD-C Clamp which I used for a year and a half. It was with me during all the competitions and tests. Material and finish of the clamp is really good and my old clamp looks like new.

Here is photo of the new clamp, it looks fantastic, enhanced design has only improved it.

Clamp is made of aerospace quality 6061 aluminum, which makes it lightweight, but it also has stainless steel threaded inserts which make it durable. This is one of the good examples of well thought out design of this clamp.

New clamp now has 3M polyuerathane pads to protect shotgun’s finish and prevent any movement of the clamp under recoil.

Bundle includes MOD-C clamp, 3 allen keys, isolator pads and spacer for smaller flashlights (Streamlight Polytac) and installation instructions. Installation is very simple, it takes just several minutes.

Also, it is possible to install QD Sling swivel to attach a sling.

I am happy to see evolution of the CDM Gear products. New clamps, follower, QD sling swivels revolutionize the market of the tactical accessories for Remington 870 and other shotguns.
