Small Test of Tactical Flashlights (Shotgun Recoil)
My friend Andrew and I decided to make a small test of 2 tactical flashlights I have: SureFire G2 LED Tactical Flashlight and FAB Defense Speed Light. I have installed both flashlights on my shotgun using CDM Gear clamp:

We have tested them using birdshot, buckshot and slugs. We have made about 15 shots with each type of ammunition. After this small test everything was good and flashlights were ok.

Very cool, two at once! I’ll have to send you the new generation MOD-C here pretty soon and put a link for you on the CDM Gear Facebook page.
Hi Scott,
Yes, your clamp worked great! I was afraid that it will be difficult for a clamp to hold 2 flashlights at once but everything was good.
It would be very interesting to see the new generation of MOD-C!
Good luck,
Vitaly.
How’s the FAB Defense Speed Light holding up? I have one for my shotgun and i’m concerned about how it will react to the recoil. It’s a nice little light and last thing i want it to do is break on me.
I have it on my shotgun during most of my shotgun competitions. I have made about 200 shots (birdshots, buckshots and slugs) with this flashlight on my shotgun. It works properly and I didn’t have any problems with it. So I think it is good choice if you want to have a light on your Remington 870. Also, it is so small and bright and I really like it.
Thank you for your recommendation of the FAB Speedlight and CDM Mod-C clamp. I just received and installed them (thank you S&J, it appears you’re the only place on the internet that stocks that clamp), and they are the best light/clamp combo
