I've had similar luck with my ATI top-folding stock. The build quality is garbage. It's not stable when extended; it blocks the sights when folded up. The seams from their molding process slice up my hands when shooting. I'll be removing it soon in favor of a Knoxx SpecOps. In the mean time I've covered all of the areas where the ATI stock makes contact with my hands/arms with some self-adhesive camo wrap from Cabela's. Cheap solution to a garbage product. Here's a link to an image after I wrapped it up: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e163/Deviate_3s/Guns/7cb4ff28.jpg

Since the post touches briefly on the subject of foregrips, the Mako aluminum 3-picatinny piece ($100 from Cheaper Than Dirt) is fantastic.

My opinion is that just about everything ATI makes is junk! Again, just my opinion.

Take care, J.R.
