This follower did not work with my factory extension and spring. It would only allow me to load 4 rounds before it got stuck. I tried everything I could think of to make it work since I like it so much but had to switch back to the factory follower which works every time. The Remington certified armorer from AI&P that sold me my factory 18.5" barrel and factory extension informed me that he and a few of his clients also could not get the S&J follower to work reliably with the factory extension and spring. I may try to the Nordic aluminum follower to see if it works.
